Christel Duff
Christel Duff graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2017. Following law school, she began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Kent County, Delaware, where she gained valuable courtroom experience and developed a strong foundation in legal advocacy. Christel later transitioned into private practice under the mentorship of John Robbert, Esquire, in Ocean View, Delaware, focusing on estate planning, trust administration, and estate administration. She has also completed the Peak Trust Management Certificate, further expanding her knowledge of fiduciary administration and trust management.
Christel’s interest in estate planning stems from both personal experiences and her work with families facing difficult circumstances. After experiencing unexpected medical emergencies involving herself and her husband, she gained a firsthand understanding of the importance of preparing for the unexpected. These experiences, combined with witnessing the financial and emotional challenges families can face without proper planning, strengthened her commitment to helping individuals protect their assets, provide for loved ones, and ensure their wishes are clearly documented.
Christel believes estate planning involves much more than preparing wills and trusts. She recognizes that every family has unique circumstances and takes pride in helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions about their future. As a member of the Personal Family Lawyers organization, she values ongoing client relationships and recognizes the importance of reviewing estate plans as family circumstances, financial situations, and applicable laws change. Her goal is to help families achieve peace of mind knowing they have taken meaningful steps to protect those who matter most.
Outside of the office, Christel enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and reading whenever she finds a quiet moment. As a busy mother, she also embraces her unofficial role as the family’s Chief Teen Transportation Officer.
