The Law Offices of Murray, Phillips & Gay a Delaware Criminal Defense law firm now serves all of Kent and Sussex County, Delaware. Julie Murray and Ron Phillips started their law firm on January 1, 2015. Prior to joining forces, the two lawyers each had their own law firm, Murray Law and The Law Office of Ronald D. Phillips Jr. respectively. While Phillips concentrated his efforts on criminal law and DUI, Murray had a general practice that included civil litigation, Real Estate, and Estate Planning. Phillips has practiced extensively in Kent and Sussex County while Murray focused her energy mainly in Sussex County. Phillips is known for his work in the criminal arena over the past 25 years and has handled complex and difficult cases in Superior Court such as Murder and Racketeering as well as simple traffic matters and DUI cases in the Court of Common Pleas and Justice of the Peace Courts. Murray is best known for her work in the case of Sheriff Jeff Christopher v. Sussex County and Gunn v. McKenna, and election contest in Kent County.
Beginning in September of 2018, both Murray and Phillips joined forces with Thomas E. Gay. Gay rounds out the firm by offering family law. Gay has over 25 years of experience and is considered by many as the premier domestic law attorney in Delaware. With the addition of Gay, the firm will be devoted to providing representation in criminal defense and DUI, Estate Planning, and Family Law.
